We are seeking an experienced PLC Programmer with strong expertise in Allen Bradley and Rockwell Automation systems to support industrial automation projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in PLC programming, control systems engineering, and industrial automation troubleshooting within manufacturing or production environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, program, and maintain Allen Bradley PLCs including ControlLogix, CompactLogix, and MicroLogix platforms.
- Design and modify ladder logic, function block diagrams, and structured text programming.
- Configure and support Rockwell Automation Studio 5000 / RSLogix 5000 environments.
- Perform HMI development using FactoryTalk View (ME/SE).
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to industrial control systems, electrical panels, and automation equipment.
- Integrate VFDs, servo drives, motion control systems, and industrial networks such as EtherNet/IP, DeviceNet, and ControlNet.
- Support commissioning, startup, and system validation activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical engineers, maintenance technicians, and production teams to optimize system performance.
- Maintain documentation including electrical schematics, I/O lists, and control narratives.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a PLC Programmer in a manufacturing or industrial automation environment.
- Strong proficiency with Allen Bradley PLC hardware and software.
- Experience with Rockwell Automation platforms and Studio 5000 programming.
- Solid understanding of industrial communication protocols.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and P&ID drawings.
- Experience with troubleshooting PLC systems, root cause analysis, and preventive maintenance.
- Knowledge of UL standards, NFPA 70E, and industrial safety practices.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with SCADA systems integration.
- Familiarity with robotics integration and machine automation.
- Background in process control, discrete manufacturing, or continuous manufacturing environments.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
